BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The third day of practice is always high-energy, as it marks the first day that teams around the country can put on the pads. Although teams are just allowed to wear uppers for practices three and four, it is always exciting to once again hear the popping of the pads on the practice field. Monday morning's practice session marked the third practice, and the Falcons had the uppers on for the first time this fall.
The morning began with individual drills and 7-on-7, concluding with 11-on-11 team drills. The special teams had plenty of work as well, as the Orange and Brown worked on field goal/PAT along with punt and punt return during the morning. Early on in camp, it has been a focus of the defense to continue to grasp Brian Ward's system and to play fast. Both sides of the ball have, and will continue to, experiment with various lineups throughout camp.
Following practice, linebacker Austin Valdez stopped by to discuss the first three days of camp thus far. Video of the post-practice media session can be found above. Additionally, photos from the third practice of #BGCamp15 can be located at the link above. Finally, a video and feature story on Travis Greene can be found above. Be sure to keep up with the Falcons over the next few weeks of fall camp by following @BG_Football on Twitter and make your voice heard by using the hashtag #BGCamp15.
