BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University football team was back on the field Wednesday morning for day five of #BGCamp15. Wednesday's practice session marked the first day of full pads for the squad, and featured plenty of drills and technique. Early on in practice, the team went through stations working on the basics of tackling, blocking, and more involved with being in full pads for the first time during the season. Following the individual stations, the team moved into groups working through 1-on-1 drills between the receivers/defensive backs, offensive/defensive lines, and linebackers/running backs.
Later during the practice session the team went through skeleton drills, 7-on-7 drills, inside run drills, and finally 11-on-11 sessions. Tomorrow marks the first two-a-day during fall camp for the Falcons, who will partake in four total two-a-days during the next eight days. The team will get their first taste of game-action on Saturday during a controlled scrimmage.
Following practice, Dino Babers stopped by to discuss the first few days of camp thus far. Video of the post-practice media session can be found above. Additionally, photos from the fifth practice of #BGCamp15 can be located at the link above. Be sure to keep up with the Falcons over the next few weeks of fall camp by following @BG_Football on Twitter and make your voice heard by using the hashtag #BGCamp15.
