WATCH: Babers Awards Scholarships To Two Former Walk-Ons
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University football team was on the field Wednesday for their 13th and 14th practices of #BGCamp15. For the Falcons, it was their third two-a-day of fall camp, and their second of three this week. After a two-practice day on Monday, the Falcons' scheduled morning practice was moved to the afternoon on Tuesday due to lightning and rain in the morning. After Tuesday's practice, head coach Dino Babers awarded scholarships to two former walk-ons -- Terrance Bush and Trenton Greene. Video of Babers announcing the scholarship additions, as well as interviews with both Bush and Greene, can be found above. Additionally, the Mid-American Conference featured the Falcons today during their 13 Teams in 13 Days preview. That story can be found HERE.
Following the first practice of the day, senior defensive linemen Taylor Royster stopped by to discuss camp, the upcoming season, and how the defense is progressing so far during camp. On Saturday, the Falcons will take to the field for their second scrimmage of fall camp, set to begin at 8:30 a.m. Following the scrimmage, season ticket holders are invited to an appreciation event at Stroh Center beginning at 11:00 a.m.
