BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Bowling Green State University football team is nearing the end of fall camp, which in turn means the end of two-practice days and eight practice work weeks. For the Falcons, Friday marks the last two-a-day practice of 2015, and virtually, the final practice of fall camp. BGSU will host an open scrimmage on Saturday (Aug. 22) morning at 8:30 a.m., to be followed by an exclusive season ticket holder event at the Stroh Center.
Friday morning's practice was in full pads, but was followed by Friday afternoon's practice session in just helmets and shorts. Following the scrimmage on Saturday, the Falcons will begin to turn their attention towards Tennessee and their week one opponent. With the start of the fall semester on Monday, the Falcons will break camp and begin their academic-year practice schedule.
After practice, redshirt senior Alex Huettel and redshirt sophomore Nate Locke stopped by to talk about two-a-days and the excitement for the upcoming season. Videos of those interviews can be found at the top of the page. Additionally, a photo gallery from the practice session and two articles are available above.
