Falcons Host Michigan State
November 09, 2016 | Women's Swimming & Diving
Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Falcons will host Big Ten competitor, Michigan State. The Falcon's last dual meet of 2016 will start at 6 P.M. on Friday, Nov. 11 in Cooper Pool.
The Falcons are coming off from a 170-130 win against Mid-American Conference opponent, the Ball State Cardinals. Junior, Natalie Criswell, won three individual events for the orange and brown. Maya Skorupski and Victoria Griffin, who are both seniors, won two events each for the Falcons. Freshman diver, Talisa Lemke, won both diving events to help the Falcons claim the win.
"Friday night will be a huge challenge for our swimmers and divers as we wrap up our first semester dual meet season as we take on Michigan State at The Coop", said head coach Matt Ense. "Finishing up our first segment of dual meets against a Big Ten opponent at home is something pretty special for our women to be able to be a part of. Last season, our women took the meet down to the last relay and we came up on the short end of the finish, and I know our women are looking forward to racing again. They love competing against larger programs and better programs as it brings out the best in them and it teaches them to compete even more when they are in a tired state. I am looking forward to watching the divers continue to grow and it will be exciting to see them compete against a strong Michigan State diving team."
The order of events at the meet will be the following:
200 Medley Relay
1000 Free
200 Free
