Cleveland State Rallies To Top Falcons, 5-2

BGSU returns to action Sunday at IUPUI
Cleveland, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio to take on the Vikings of Cleveland State University. Despite winning the doubles point the Falcons fell to the Vikings, 5-2 at the Paramount Tennis Club Friday afternoon.
At No. 1 doubles, senior Drew Fillis and freshman Paula Comella Aguilo won their third straight match, downing Isabella Spindler and Aleksandra, 6-2. Fillis and Aguilo have earned their fifth win of the season and 12th overall.
BG captured the doubles point when freshmen duo Polina Radeva and Marina Ferrero defeated Victoria Bensimon and Morgan Nix 7-6 (3) at the second flight.
At No. 2 singles, Radeva beat Princess Gbadamosi claiming the Falcons' only singles win of the afternoon. Radeva won a close first set by a 7-6 (5) result. In the second set Gbadamosi won just three games, as Radeva won the set 6-3 to take the match.
The Falcons are back in action Feb. 14 against IUPUI at 9:30 am in Indianapolis, Ind.
