Miami Dolphins' Chris Jones Earns His Degree At BGSU

Bowling Green, Ohio - More than 50 student-athletes graduated from Bowling Green over the weekend, including Chris Jones. Jones, the 2012 Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year, is currently a member of the Miami Dolphins and won a Super Bowl following the 2014 season with the New England Patriots. Jones started 12 games that season, recording 25 tackles. During his three-year NFL career, Jones has 79 career tackles despite missing the entire 2015 season with an injury.
Jones capped a dominant collegiate career at Bowling Green with one of the more dominant seasons in program history. He was a Football Writers Association of America First Team All-American and an Associated Press Third-Team All-American. Jones was a two-time first team All-MAC player and a team captain, finishing with 157 tackles, 28.0 sacks, 46.0 tackles for loss, six forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries.
