Columbus, Ohio – Ohio State and the Big Ten has announced that the Sept. 3 game between Bowling Green and the Buckeyes will kick off at noon on the Big Ten Network. The contest is the season opener for both teams and will be the debut for first year BGSU Head Coach Mike Jinks.

Last week, the Mid-American Conference announced start times and broadcast coverage for eight other BGSU games (CLICK HERE for that announcement or CLICK HERE for the entire 2016 schedule). Season tickets are available to watch the defending MAC Champions all season long by CLICKING HERE.

Ohio State has won each of the first four meetings between the two programs, most recently a 35-7 Buckeyes win in 2006. Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer coached the Falcons during the 2001 and 2002 seasons and the Buckeyes are 32-1 all-time against MAC opponents. Bowling Green, though, has defeated three Big Ten teams on the road in the past two seasons, including victories over Maryland (48-27) and Purdue (35-28) a year ago. BGSU beat Indiana in Doyt Perry Stadium 45-42 in 2014.
