Bowling Green, Ohio - First-year head coach Mike Jinks, redshirt senior quarterback James Knapke and redshirt junior linebacker Austin Valdez will represent the Bowling Green State University football team at MAC Media Day at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich. Thursday. But there is plenty more going on this week for the Falcon Football program. Be sure to follow BGSUFalcons.com and our social media accounts all week for the latest news and notes.
Tuesday

Wednesday
We announce an opportunity for BGSU students to purchase tickets for the season opener at Ohio State Sept. 3. BGSU Football has defeated three Big Ten programs in the past two seasons and the Falcons will head to Columbus looking for more. All fans should be aware that the deadline for purchasing tickets to the Ohio State game through the BGSU Ticket Office is Aug. 17. For details on purchasing tickets, CLICK HERE.
Thursday
BGSU Football heads north to Ford Field for the annual Mid-American Conference Media Day (get the notes packet for Media Day, including a preseason depth chart, by CLICKING HERE). The Falcons have made Ford Field a second home, playing four games in the dome over the past three seasons (three MAC Championship games and the 2013 Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl). We will have news, notes and info all day on BGSUFalcons.com, as well as throughout all of our social media channels. James Knapke will take control of our snapchat account (BGathletics) throughout the day to give you a view of Media Day. As well, Mike Jinks and Austin Valdez are scheduled to be live on the ESPN3 coverage of Media Day at 12:14 pm.
