BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team finished the Creek Classic with an 88-83 defeat at the hands of Abilene Christian University on Sunday (Nov. 26) afternoon. Bowling Green finishes the tournament with a 2-1 record, having earned wins over USC Upstate and Campbell.
Bowling Green trailed by as many as 10 points in the second half, but climbed all the way back to lead by three points, but 53.1 percent (34-of-64) shooting for Abilene Christian was too much for the Falcons to overcome.

• Bowling Green committed just eight turnovers in the contest.
• Bowling Green shot 41.7 percent (30-of-72) from the floor, 33.3 percent (8-of-24) from three-point territory, and 68.2 percent (15-of-22) from the charity stripe.

• For the second-straight day, Rodrick Caldwell set a career high in the scoring department, as he posted 25 points. He also tied a career high with six rebounds, while adding four assists. He went 9-for-16 from the floor, and made a career-high six triples, going 6-for-9 from downtown.
• For the week, Caldwell averaged 20.3 points, 6.0 assists, and 3.5 rebounds. He shot 52.1 percent (25-of-48) from the field, an absurd 56.0 percent (14-of-25) from downtown, and 70.8 percent (17-of-24) from the free throw line.
• Dylan Frye added 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting. He also grabbed three rebounds.
• Justin Turner posted 12 points, going 6-for-6 from the free throw line, while also registering two assists and one rebound.
