DAY ONE RESULTS

LAHAINA, MAUI, HI – Men's Golf concluded day one of the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic held at the Ka'anapali Golf Club hosted by Hawaii University in Maui, Hawaii. After day one the Falcons have completed 18 holes, and round one out of three for the weekend. With a final score of 282, -2, BG placed 14^th out of 21 teams after day one.

TEAM BREAKDOWN

Leading the tournament is California with a final card of 266, -18
MAC competitors include Kent State finishing in fourth after day one with 272, -12 and Ball State tied for 16^th with 287, +3
The Falcons finish round one four strokes ahead of the tournament's host, The University of Hawaii (286, +2)
Out of a total of 115 athletes, BG has three athletes finish even or under par

Leading the Falcons with a top 20 finish is Pablo Heredia Iglesias shooting three birdies for the day
Two falcons, Pablo Heredia Iglesias and Trey Walker stayed even or under par throughout the entire first round
Mitchell Kontak leads the Falcons in birdies for the first round with five
Rodrigue Vie and Max Rispler both had two birdies for the day

The Falcons will continue with day two of the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic tomorrow with an 8:30 am HAST shotgun start and will conclude the meet on Sunday as well as the BGSU Men's Golf 2017 Fall Season.
