Ten Falcons Named Academic All-MAC

Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference today announced that 10 members of the Bowling Green State University football team have been named Academic All-MAC, which requires student-athletes to maintain a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average and participate in at least 50 percent of the contests. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residency are not eligible.
Among the 10 Falcons is a trio of four-time honorees in Joseph Davidson, Nate Locke and Ryan Hunter. Davidson and Locke were named CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District and Davidson earned his third consecutive Academic All-American recognition this year, being named to the second team. Bowling Green and Ohio were the only schools to have three four-time honorees among the 10 student-athletes across the entire conference to be recognized that often.
Trevor Roop was named Academic All-MAC for the third time, while Clark Clancy and James Morgan were recognized for the second year. Caleb Bright, Cameron Jefferies, Grant Loy and Gabe Skrobot all made the team for the first time.
