Comella, Tavpash Named MAC Doubles Team Of The Week

Cleveland, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis doubles team of sophomore Paula Comella and freshman Marharita-Sophia Tavpash were named Doubles Team of the Week this evening by the Mid-American Conference. The duo earns the honor for the second time this season.
Comella and Tavpash picked up their 15th overall win against the Zips Sunday (Apr. 16) afternoon at the LaTuchie Tennis Center. The duo defeated junior Carli Knezevich and senior Karolina Maksimova of Akron on court one, 6-3.
The Falcons close out conference play this weekend versus Northern Illinois (Apr. 21) and Western Michigan (Apr. 23). Both matches will be held at Keefe Courts on BGSU's campus. In the event of inclement weather, the matches will be held indoors at the Perrysburg Tennis Center.
