Chris Zuccaro Named MAC Football Video Coordinator Of The Year

Zuccaro was selected by a majority vote of his peers in the MAC to receive the Conference Coordinator of the Year honor. He is now a finalist for the prestigious Bob Matey National Video Coordinator of the Year award, which will be announced at the annual CSVA banquet on May 18th, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Bob Matey Award is presented to the Video Coordinator who displays innovation, determination, perseverance, and technical skill as portrayed by the late Bob Matey, legendary Video Coordinator from Texas A&M.

Zuccaro has led the video department for the Falcons' football program for eight seasons. His responsibilities include overseeing the day to day video and technology needs for the football program including filming and editing of games and practices, producing scouting cutups of opponents, and managing the team's DVSport video network. Under his guidance, his staff produces highlight videos for football and also assists with the video needs of other areas of BGSU Athletics.

Prior to his arrival in Bowling Green, Ohio, Zuccaro served as Football Video Coordinator at Western Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky from 2007 to 2008. He was instrumental in the design and upgrade of technological equipment during the construction of the team's new football operations building as they transitioned from FCS to FBS.

Zuccaro worked in the football video department at Ole Miss during his undergrad from 1999 to 2003 before transferring to Southern Miss where he served as the Sports Video Intern for the Golden Eagles from 2004 to 2006. During his time in Hattiesburg, he assisted with the day to day operations of the Sports Video Department overseeing the video needs of all men's and women's sports, focusing primarily on football.

This marks the third Mid-American Video Coordinator of the Year award and fourth overall for Zuccaro. Previously, he won the award back to back in 2010-2011 and 2011-2012. He also received the honor for the Sun Belt Conference in 2007-2008 while leading the Hilltoppers' video department at Western Kentucky.

A native of Natchez, Mississippi, Zuccaro earned a bachelor's degree in Sport Administration from Southern Mississippi in 2006. He and his wife, Jamie, are the proud parents of two daughters.
