Baseball Game At Michigan Halted, Hopefully Completed At A Later Date

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team's scheduled game at the University of Michigan on April 5 has been postponed. Officially, the game has been halted, with the hope being that the game can be resumed and finished at a later date.
After a scoreless top half of the first inning, which saw freshman Jake Wilson line a single to right field to begin the contest, Bowling Green ran out onto the field to begin the bottom of the first inning. Lightning struck, and the game went into a delay.
However, more severe weather was on its way, and both teams agreed to halt the game. So, if the both teams can find a future date, the game will resume in the bottom of the first inning with the score tied at 0-0. If the game is rescheduled, it will be a direct continuation of the April 5 game, which means the lineups are already set in stone. Normal substitution rules still apply.
