BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team and head coach Danny Schmitz have announced that walk-on tryouts will take place at 4 p.m. on Aug. 31 at Steller Field. The tryout is open to all BGSU students.

Registration begins at 3:30 p.m., with the tryout beginning at 4 p.m. More information can be found below.

MUST BRING TO TRYOUT
*** Completed Tryout Packet (HERE)
*** Completed Tryout Waiver (HERE)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Must be Full-Time BGSU Student
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â If 4 year transfer, must have Permission to Contact letter from previous school
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Freshman cannot be non-qualifiers
*** Proof of Physical (The player must bring a physical that was completed within the last year using the date of the tryout as the year marker)
*** Proof of Sickle Cell Testing (A Sickle Cell test must be completed before you are allowed to participate in the tryout. For all US births after 1990 – this test was conducted at birth. Contact your pediatrician and they should have the results. You can have them fax you the results and bring those results with you to the field)
*** Proof of Insurance (Insurance Card)
*** Class Schedule
*** Glove, Bat, Catcher's Gear If You Are A Catcher
