Falcons Look To Move Up Leaderboard At Muskies Classic

Cincinnati, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Men's Golf team finished their first day of play at the Muskies Classic Monday (Oct. 22), and the Falcons are currently in solid position in sixth place. Play was suspended during the second round due to darkness and will be concluded tomorrow. Round two will continue at 9 a.m. followed by round three.Â
Ohio State (481) leads the tournament after the first day with Ball State (493) and Butler (503) in second and third, respectively.Â
BGSU currently has five golfers inside the top 30 in the player leaderboard with Rodrigue Vie leading the charge shooting +3 (128), as he currently is T13 for the tournament.Â
Four Falcons are tied for T26 including Max Rispler (135), Pablo Heredia Iglesias (132), Noah Firestone (128) and Nick Hofland (131), who is playing as an individual.Â
Freshman Curtis Hughes, who is also playing as an individual, shot +8 (135) and is currently T41. Trey Walker shot +10 (136) and sits T54 for the tournament.Â
