Falcons Wrap Up Fall Season At Muskies Classic

Kettering, Ohio – The BGSU Men's Golf team will wrap up its fall season by playing in the Muskies Classic in Cincinnati, Ohio on Oct. 22-23. The Muskies Classic will take place at the Maketewah Country Club, which is a par 71 course with a total of 6809 yards.

The Falcons have finished no worse than seventh in all of their fall events, including coming off of a seventh-place finish at the Dayton Flyer Invitational with a team total score of 881. Pablo Heredia Iglesias has been the standout Falcon this fall where he has finished in the top 15 in all four events, including finishing T10 at last week's Dayton Flyer Invitational.

Another notable accomplishment this fall season was Rodrigue Vie, who shot -7 over three rounds at the Fuzzy Zoeller Invitational to finish fourth out of 75 golfers earlier this year that earned him the Jet's Athlete of the Week and the MAC Men's Golfer of the Week.

Playing Field:
·       The Falcons are one of 16 teams competing along with Xavier (host), Ball State, Butler, DePaul, Indiana, IUPUI, La Salle, Miami (OH), Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, Ohio State, St. John's, West Virginia, Wright State
·       The tournament will include 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. Monday's starting time is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. and Tuesday's start time is scheduled for 9 a.m.

Up Next:
The spring season for the Falcons will begin on Feb. 11 when they travel to Dade City, Florida and take part in the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play tournament hosted by Ball State.
