COACH TOMIC QUOTE
"The next two road matches will be big tests for us. Any time we play teams from the east division, we know that might be the only time we get to play them that year. There might not be a chance for a rematch, except in the MAC tournament.
CMU is a team whose record does not reflect how good they are. They are on the verge of a breakthrough and those teams are always very dangerous. Our team will need to be fully mentally and physically prepared for a tough offensive team that is hungry for a win.
EMU is one of the hottest teams in the MAC this season. They lead in every offensive statistical category in the conference, so our strong defense will definitely tested. We will also have to terminate offensively while being efficient, which was our strength in almost all of our wins this season."
SCOUTING THE CENTRAL MICHIGAN CHIPPEWAS
• The Chippewas are last in the MAC west division after failing to win a single conference game to date.
• Central Michigan is currently on a nine-match losing streak, and were swept three times in a row prior to their most recent match against NIU.
