BGSU Alumnus Brett D'Andrea Signs With Toledo Walleye Of The ECHL

TOLEDO, Ohio. – Bowling Green State University hockey alumnus Brett D'Andrea has agreed to terms with the Toledo Walleye of the East Coast Hockey League for the 2018-19 season, the Walleye announced Wednesday.
A 24-year-old forward from Marysville, Michigan, D'Andrea joins the Walleye after starting his pro career in Pensacola of the Southern Professional Hockey League where he picked up four points (2G, 2A) over seven contests for the Ice Flyers.
In his four seasons with the Bowling Green hockey program, Brett D'Andrea posted 51 points by 23 goals and 28 assists, a plus-19 rating and 37 penalty minutes in 131 games for the Falcons. He also earned All-WCHA Academic honors for his sophomore season.
With this signing, D'Andrea joins fellow BGSU alumnus and member of the 2017-18 senior class Tyler Spezia as a member of the Walleye roster.
