Gabe Skrobot Named Google Cloud Academic All-District

Bowling Green, Ohio – Redshirt sophomore long snapper Gabe Skrobot has been named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District Team, as voted on by sports information directors around the country. Skrobot is one of 25 members of the Academic All-District Team from District 5, encompassing all NCAA Division I schools (both FBS and FCS) in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
Skrobot is one of just two members from District 5 who maintains a 4.0 grade point average, doing so in biology and chemistry. Also a nominee for the Wuerffel Trophy, "College Football's Premier Award for Community Service", Skrobot snaps for the Falcon football team and serves in the community.
The many volunteer opportunities Skrobot takes advantage of includes time with Wood County Hospital, Rally Cap Sports (serving children with mental disabilities), and Christmas on the Hill (fundraising for underprivileged children). Skrobot has also spearheaded Christmas with the Falcons, an initiative designed after Christmas on the Hill to serve underprivileged children in the Bowling Green community.
Skrobot also holds his pilot's license and is a member of the Dean's List.
