Falcon Volleyball To Face Bradley In First Round Of NIVC

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University volleyball program are headed to Ames, Iowa to face Bradley in the first round of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC). The Falcons' match versus the Braves is set to take place on Thursday, Nov. 29 (5:00 p.m. EST) in the Hilton Coliseum.
This is the first postseason appearance in program history for the Braves. The Braves earned an automatic spot in the NIVC after their third-place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Braves ended with a record of 13-5 in conference play, and 23-8 overall.
Falcon Volleyball hold a winning record of 1-0 agaisnt the Braves. The Falcons picked up a five set victory (30-25, 30-28, 29-31, 28-30, 19-17) in their only previous match versus the Braves.
Should the Falcons defeat Bradley, they will face the winner of the Iowa State (16-13) and Drake (21-14) on the following day (Friday, Nov. 30) at 7:30 p.m. EST.
