Cleveland, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced that four members of the Bowling Green State University football team have been named to the 2018 All-MAC Team. Scott Miller was named to the All-MAC second team, while Marcus Milton, Jack Kramer and Andrew Clair earned third team honors.
Â
Miller, a senior wide receiver, picked up All-MAC honors for the third time in his career. He was first team All-MAC as a sophomore and third team All-MAC a year ago.
Â
This season, Miller leads the MAC and ranks 11th in the country with 1,148 receiving yards. He's also among the top 20 in the country with 71 receptions. It is the third time in his career that he has led BGSU in those categories. Miller also led the team in touchdowns during the 2018 season, finding pay dirt nine times for the Orange and Brown. His season was highlighted by catching a 76-yard touchdown against Western Michigan to complete a 91-yard drive to give the Falcons a 14-0 lead over the Broncos. The final play of his career was a 63-yard touchdown reception.
Â
Clair, a sophomore running back, earned third team All-MAC honors for the second consecutive season. He crossed the goal line five times on the ground, giving him a new career high and the team lead for the second consecutive season. Clair also tallied 702 rushing yards over 135 carries during the 2018 season. Through the air, Clair was able to add another two scores on 19 receptions for 102 yards.
Â
Milton, a redshirt senior defensive back, led BGSU in interceptions during the 2018 season with three. Milton tallied the same number last season, tying Clint Stephens for the team lead. On the season, Milton contributed 46 tackles to the Falcons' campaign, while also registering his first career sack against Ohio. He was also featured on the special teams unit, providing 12 punt returns.
Â
Kramer, a redshirt junior offensive lineman, was the anchor of the Falcon offensive line that made way for 4,263 total yards of offense for the 2018 season. Of that, Kramer provided room for 1,399 team rushing yards, including nine rushing touchdowns. He began the season by starting the first five games at left guard. After injuries across the line, he started the final seven games at center. He was the only member of the offensive line to start all 12 games in 2018 and one of only two players on offense to do so.
BGSU finished the 2018 season with a record of 3-9 overall and 2-6 in Mid-American Conference play. The Falcons closed the season by winning two of their final three games and just named Scot Loeffler as the 20th head coach in Bowling Green history (CLICK HERE for more information).Â
