Falcons Volleyball One Match Away From Clinching Regular Season With Win Over Ohio

The Bowling Green State University volleyball program completed a comeback victory of three to sets to one over the Ohio Bobcats on Friday, Nov 9. The Falcons just need to defeat the Kent State Golden Flashes in tomorrow's matchup to clinch the MAC Regular Season.

HIGHLIGHTSÂ
• The Falcons brushed off a set loss, and won three in a row to ultimately defeat the Bobcats, and get one step closer to becoming outright MAC Regular Season Champions.
• After initially being held to a .170 average in first and second set, the Falcons adjusted their attack to win the second and fourth sets by at least five points. The Falcons ended the fourth set with a hitting efficiency average of .220, and held the Bobcats to .000.
• The Falcons were sharp defensively, and posted 90 digs as a team, and 25 total blocks (three block solos, and 22 block assists).
FALCON STANDOUTS
• Katelyn Meyer lead the team's attack with 15 kills. Celena Kanagin and Isabel contributed to the team's comeback with a combined total of 22 kills (11 each).  Â
• Kallie Seimet led the team's defensive efforts with 25 digs. Isabelle Marciniak posted another double-double with 26 assists and 19 digs. Â
