The Falcons can clinch the MAC regular season championship, and the No. 1 seed in the MAC Tournament if the team defeats Ohio on Friday, Nov. 9 at 7:00 p.m., and Kent State on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 5:00 p.m. Â

SCOUTING THE OHIO BOBCATSÂ
• The Ohio Bobcats are currently fourth in the MAC East Division with a record of 7-7 in conference play.
• The Falcons faced the Bobcats last month in the Stroh Center, and defeated them three sets to none.
• Outside hitter Jamie Kosiorek continues to occupy the number six spot in the service aces category of the NCAA rankings. Kosiorek has posted 49 service aces this season while fellow outside hitter Lizzie Stephens also ranks in top 20 (No. 16) in service aces with 45 of her own.
SCOUTING THE KENT STATE GOLDEN FLASHES
• The Golden Flashes have improved to 6-8 since the last time they faced the Falcons this season.
• Bowling Green have defeated Kent State in their past six meetings; Kent State's last victory (3-1) against the Falcons came on Sept. 26 of the 2015 season.
• Kent State dropped four spots to number 18 in the team digs category of the NCAA rankings. The Golden Flashes have totaled 1,802 digs in 28 matches.
STATISTICAL LEADERS FOR THE FALCONS
• Kallie Seimet continues to lead the NCAA in digs per set with an updated average of 6.67. The libero from Oregon, Ohio is currently at 647 digs this season, making her first in the NCAA total digs category. Seimet needs only 44 more digs to overtake Chelsey Meeks as all-time digs leader at BGSU.Â
• The Falcons rank third in the NCAA in digs per set and 12th in team digs. The Orange and Brown are averaging 19.04 digs per set, and have registered 1,847 digs in the 2018-19 season. On the offensive end, the Falcons are fourth in team attacks per set, averaging 39.93. Â
• Isabelle Marciniak has put up 787 assists for her teammates this season. After playing in 88 sets this season, the setter is averaging 8.94 assists per set.
• Katelyn Meyer leads the Falcons in kills with 224. Madeline Brandewie (186), Katie Kidwell (179), and Isabel Kovacic (163) all trail closely behind.
• Katie Kidwell has been involved in 108 blocks. Kidwell is up to 18 solo blocks and 90 block assists this season.
