Tennis Sweeps Doubles Competition for 5-1 Win at UIndy

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Bowling Green tennis program (5-1) continued its winning ways on Saturday afternoon as it faced non-conference opponent the University of Indianapolis (2-1) on the road. The Falcons picked up a 5-1 victory after earning three doubles wins and a pair of singles victories against the Greyhounds.

- With her victory at No. 1 singles, junior Paula Comella improves to 5-1 in singles competition this season.
- By downing her opponent at No. 4 singles by scores of 6-1, 6-3, sophomore Ayumi Sasaki is on a two-match win streak in singles competition.
- The Falcons swept doubles competition with wins on all three courts, the third time they have done so in the 2018 campaign.
- After battling for a 9-8 (7-4) victory at No. 2 doubles, the pairing of junior Polina Radeva and Sasaki earned its fifth victory of the season, and boasts a 5-1 record on the season.
