Comella Leads Tennis Against Notre Dame with Pair of Wins

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Junior Paula Comella highlighted the Bowling Green tennis program's (5-3) match at the University of Notre Dame (5-2) Saturday afternoon by picking up a singles and doubles win against the Fighting Irish. Despite dropping a 6-1 decision, the Falcons earned the one singles and one doubles win on the road, while Comella is now on a four-match win streak in singles play.

- With her 6-3, 6-4 wins in straight sets against her opponent, junior Paula Comella improves to 7-1 at the No. 1 singles spot and extends her win streak to four straight matches.
- When Comella teamed up with sophomore Marharita-Sophia Tavpash, the duo was able to down their opponents at No. 1 doubles competition as well. With the 6-3 victory, the pairing improves to 5-3 on the season.
