BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – On senior night at the Stroh Center on Friday (March 2) night, the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team was defeated by the University at Buffalo by a score of 100-70.

With the loss, Bowling Green finishes the regular season with a 16-15 (7-11 MAC) record. Buffalo won the MAC regular-season title with an overall record of 23-8 (15-3 MAC).

Buffalo shot 56.7 percent (38-of-67) for the game to pull away from the Falcons in the second half. The Bulls made 10 three-pointers in the ballgame. Bowling Green was limited to 35.6 percent (21-of-59) shooting for the contest.

MAC TOURNAMENT SCENARIOS
• Bowling Green's MAC Tournament fate will be determined after the conclusion of tomorrow's Western Michigan and Central Michigan game. The game is schedule to tip at 11 a.m.
• If Western Michigan wins, Bowling Green hosts Ohio in the first round of the MAC Tournament.
• If Central Michigan wins, Bowling Green will travel to Mount Pleasant to take on the Chippewas.
• The first round of the MAC Tournament is scheduled for Monday, March 5.

• Redshirt-freshman guard Justin Turner led the Falcons with 21 points. He has now scored 20-plus points in 10 games in 2017-18.
• Turner continued to add to his record-breaking freshman season. He now has 475 points on the season. Turner set the freshman single-season scoring record at BGSU on Feb. 24. Turner finishes the regular season leading all MAC freshmen in scoring at 15.8 points per game.
• Junior forward Demajeo Wiggins posted his seventh-consecutive double-double. Wiggins had six double-doubles all of last season. In tonight's contest, Wiggins added 15 points and 10 rebounds.
• Wiggins has 16 double-doubles on the season. He finishes the regular season with averages of 14.1 points and 10.1 rebounds.
• Off the bench, sophomore guard Rodrick Caldwell posted nine points, five rebounds and three assists. Caldwell went 3-for-4 at the free throw line.
• Freshman forward Derek Koch added seven points and three rebounds.
• In potentially his last game at the Stroh Center, senior Matt Fox got the start, and contributed with five points, three rebounds and one assist.

• Prior to the game, BGSU's lone senior, guard Matt Fox, was honored during a senior night ceremony.
• Student managers Luke Schapker, Mitch Bailey, Brad Shapiro and Andrew Manas were also honored. The four Falcons have been student managers for four years.
• Additionally, head coach Michael Huger rewarded Mitch Bailey with a uniform prior to the morning shootaround. Bailey suited up and was on the bench and available to play in the game.
