Volleyball Announces 2018 Schedule, With Tickets On Sale Now

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Coming off of a MAC Regular Season Championship campaign in 2017, the Bowling Green volleyball program has announced its schedule for the 2018 season. The regular season will include a total of 30 matches, including 13 at home at the Stroh Center with season tickets on sale now.
The Falcons 13 home matches will include two non-conference matchups against Fort Wayne (exhibition) and Oakland, in addition to three in the sixth annual BGSU Invitational. On the season, Bowling Green will have a total of 16 Mid-American Conference matchups, including eight at home.
After opening the season against Fort Wayne on Aug. 18 and Oakland on Aug. 28, the Falcons will host the BGSU Invitational from Sept. 13-15 with Marshall, IUPUI and Nicholls State as the participant schools. After opening Mid-American Conference play with a pair of matches at Buffalo and Akron, the Falcons will return to the Stroh Center for the MAC Home Opener on Thursday, Sept. 27 against Miami.
Bowling Green will then have two four-match home stands in MAC play, before rounding out the season with Senior Night against Buffalo on Saturday, Oct. 27.
To prepare for conference play, the Falcons will also be competing in three non-conference tournaments on the road, including at Purdue (Aug. 24-25), at Duquesne (Aug. 31-Sept. 1), and at Cleveland State (Sept. 7-8).
With season tickets now on sale, it is the perfect time to gear up for what is sure to be another exciting season of Bowling Green Volleyball at the Stroh Center as the Falcons look to defend its 2017 MAC Regular Season title.
