COACH TOMIC QUOTE:Â
"This was great volleyball tonight. I thought both teams played at a high level; we did not play well in the first set, but we knew that Miami was going to be a tough team, we have a lot of respect for them. I talked to the team after our scouting session and said, 'We show respect to our opponents [by] bringing our best game against them.'
After that slow start in the first set we started a different rotation and we made some subs; our freshman Hanna Laube did a good job running offense. Beyond that, our serve and receive game improved and that kept us in that match."
