Bowling Green now has three of its four non-conference games finalized for that season. The Falcons will also play at Liberty on Sept. 2 and at Louisiana Tech on Sept. 30. Both of those contests are the back-end of a home-and-home series with the two schools.
BGSU and Michigan have met on two other occasions, both in Ann Arbor. Michigan won in the 2000 season opener 42-7 and the Wolverines picked up a 65-21 victory in 2010.
The Falcons last defeated a Big Ten program in 2015 when Bowling Green beat Maryland 48-27 and then Purdue 35-28 two weeks later. The Falcons also defeated Indiana in Doyt L. Perry Stadium in 2014 in a thrilling 45-42 victory.
BGSU has completed non-conference scheduling through the 2021 season. The Falcons will host Morgan State and Louisiana Tech, while heading on the road for games at Kansas State and Notre Dame, in 2019. In 2020, BGSU plays at Ohio State and Illinois, while hosting Robert Morris and Liberty. The 2021 non-conference campaign includes games at Tennessee and Minnesota, along with home games against South Alabama and Murray State.
In 2022, BGSU will play at UCLA and at South Alabama. In 2024, the Falcons host Fordham while playing at Penn State and at Maryland. BGSU has a game scheduled at Minnesota in 2025 and a home-and-home set with Iowa State in 2026 (away) and 2027 (home). The Falcons play at Arizona State in 2026.
All future schedules are subject to change.
