Daeqwon Plowden's #SCTop10 Block Goes Viral

After a turnover near mid-court, Plowden chased down the Kent State player, leaped over him, and then pinned the ball on the backboard with two hands. He was then able to secure the rebound, and start the fast break.
The block was featured as the No. 3 play on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays of the night on Jan. 5. Since then, the play has gone viral. The men's basketball team's official Twitter account (@BGSUMHoops) sent out a tweet of the block after the game. That tweet, as of Monday (Jan. 7) morning, has 231 retweets and 774 favorites.
Bowling Green's next game is set for Tuesday (Jan. 8) at 7 p.m. inside the Stroh Center versus Ohio. The contests is BGSU's home MAC opener. The Falcons (9-5; 1-0 MAC) are 7-0 at home for the first time since 2001-02.
