Falcons In Thick Of Leaderboard At Dayton Flyer Invitational

Dayton, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's golf team has concluded the first day of the Dayton Flyer Invitational (Oct. 14) and are currently tied for sixth place with a score of +36 (604).
Rodrigue Vie leads the Falcons with a score of +7 (149). Vie is coming off an individual win at the Tom Tontimonia Invitational last week where BG also secured the tournament win as a team. Vie is T-11th for the tournament and has three birdies.
Ward Kyle shot a +8 (150) today, good for second on the squad and T-22nd for the tournament. Nick Hofland tied Vie and Kyle for the best individual round of the day for the Falcons at 75. Hofland shot +10 (152) and is currently T-33th among all golfers.
Tom North shot a +12 (154) through two rounds for the Falcons and sits T-46th. Ian Mackenzie-Olson rounds out the lineup for the Falcons with a score of +13 (155) and sits at T-48th.
Dylan Fitchet and Curtis Hughes are both playing as individuals for BG. Fitchet is at +18 (160). Hughes is at +22 after one day of play with a total of 157 and is at 73rd.
Bowling Green has ten birdies, good for fourth among all teams participating. The Dayton Flyer Invitational will conclude tomorrow with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
