BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team, led by a career-high 30 points from senior guard Dylan Frye, earned a 76-69 win over Dartmouth College on Saturday (Nov. 30) at the Stroh Center. The Falcons move to 6-2 on the campaign with the victory.
Frye also made a career-high six triples, and became just the second player in program history to reach 200 made three-pointers in his career. Frye is just 26 makes shy of breaking the BGSU record. Junior forward Trey Diggs added 17 points on 4-of-8 shooting from downtown. Senior forward Marlon Sierra tied his career high with 11 points.
Dartmouth entered the game with an Ivy-League leading 5-1 record. The Big Green opened the season with a win at Buffalo, which snapped the Bulls 26-game home win streak.
The Falcons raced out to a 7-0 lead, and led by as many as 19 points in the first half. Dartmouth never held a lead in the contest. Bowling Green led for 39:40 of the game's 40 minutes.

• Frye moved past Falcon legend Keith McLeod (1998-2002 | 199) on the Bowling Green all-time triples list. With his 203 three-pointers, Frye is 26 makes shy of breaking John Reimold's (2002-05 | 228) record.
• Frye went over 1,200-career points on the afternoon. The senior has scored 1,208 points in 105 games across his career. He currently ranks tied for 28th on the all-time scoring list with Ron Hammye (1974-78).

• Senior forward Marlon Sierra tied his career high with 11 points. Sierra also had 11 points in Bowling Green's win over Jacksonville on Nov. 11, 2019. The native of Miami finished with six rebounds in today's win, as well.
• Junior forward Daeqweon Plowden – who also had eight points – registered a game-high 12 rebounds. The 12 rebounds tied a season high, and fell one board short of tying his career high. Plowden had 13 rebounds at Detroit Mercy last season on Nov. 20, 2018. The 12 rebounds marked the fourth game in Plowden's career with double-digit rebounds.
• In 13 minutes of action, sophomore center Taylor Mattos contributed with four points, two rebounds, and a career-high two assists.
• Sophomore guard Caleb Fields finished the ballgame with two points, one rebound, one assist and a season-high three steals. Off the bench, senior guard Michael Laster added three points and three assists.
