Promotions & Themes Announced For Saturday’s Star Wars Night Men’s Basketball Game

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team hosts Oakland University on Saturday (Dec. 7) for Star Wars Night inside the Stroh Center. The contest is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
There will be a lot of Star Wars-themed promotions and giveaways throughout the day, beginning with Jedi Academy at 3 p.m. Below is a full list of Star Wars activities for the game.
JEDI ACADEMY
• Jedi Academy for kids beginning at 3 p.m.
• Register at: fevo.me/starwarsbg
• 30 minutes of Jedi Training with trained professionals.
• All children will receive the bobblehead, magnet, and poster.
STAR WARS NIGHT
• Star Wars Characters at the game (professional actors from Ring of Steel located in Ann Arbor, Michigan).
• Jedi Lightsaber battle at halftime.
• Fredi Master bobbleheads given out to the first 500 fans at The Perch.
• 250 Star Wars-themed magnets handed out.
• 200 Star Wars-themed posters given out.
• Star Wars museum of memorabilia for fans to see.
• Star Wars music, videos, and cams throughout the game.
• Themed concession items.
