Falcons Withdraw From Miami Invite, Will Return To Action In 2020

Oxford, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University swim and dive team has withdrawn from the final day of competition at the Miami Invite. Issues with the pool caused a delay in action on Friday, with the delay continuing into Saturday.
The Falcons were in fourth place at the time of withdrawal, with Anna Eriksson and Daisy Platts each earning a pair of top ten finishes. Platts took first in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in a meet-record 53.87 seconds. Taylor Harris, Sarah Hennings, and Talisa Lemke also placed in the top ten, as did a pair of Falcon relay teams.

The Falcons will have over a month off before their next competition. BGSU will kick off 2020 on Saturday, Jan. 11, racing at the Florida International University Relay Invite. The following weekend, the Orange and Brown will host a pair of duals against Davenport University (Jan. 17) and Miami University (Jan. 18).
