Men’s Basketball Home Game Versus Kent State Flexed To CBS Sports Network On March 1

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team's home game versus Kent State, originally scheduled for March 2 at 4 p.m., has been picked up by national television. The conference office announced the news on Thursday (Feb. 7) afternoon. The contest will still serve as the program's Senior Night.
The game will now air on CBS Sports Network, and will be played on Friday, March 1 at 6 p.m. inside the Stroh Center. All tickets already purchased for the game will be honored. For more information or questions regarding ticket sales, please contact the BGSU Ticket Office at 877-BGSU TICKET.
The Mid-American Conference has several "Wild Card" slots throughout the 2018-19 conference schedule. The Wild Card selections allow the MAC to move Saturday games to a Friday slot in order to appear on national TV. Schools must be notified at least 21 days prior to the originally scheduled game.
Bowling Green's win over No. 18 Buffalo on Feb. 1 appeared on CBS Sports Network, as well. Additionally, the Falcons' game at Ohio on Feb. 22 has already been picked up by CBS Sports Network.
