Ontario native signs NLI, will join BGSU for 2019-20 academic year
Bowling Green State University women's basketball coach Robyn Fralick has announced the signing of Kaillie Hall (Hamilton, Ontario) to a National Letter of Intent. Hall will join the Falcon program for the 2019-20 academic year.
"Kaillie will be a tremendous addition to our program," said Fralick. "Her love of the game, passion to play and versatility really stand out. She will positively impact our program both on and off the court and we are thrilled to have her here."
Hall, a 5-10 guard, is a native of Hamilton, Ontario, and attends Lincoln Prep. She also has extensive national-team experience. She was a member of the Under-16 Canadian National Team, and was a member of the U15 to U17 provincial team, helping Team Ontario capture a U17 National Championship. Hall was a Canadian National Championships First-Team All Star with the U17 program.
Hall has participated in the BioSteel All Canadian Basketball Games, an event that features the top 24 high school male and female basketball players that are Canadian and/or playing in Canada. She earned a silver medal with U16 Canada Basketball at FIBA Americas.
Hall, a two-time Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association Champion with Lincoln Prep, has twice been named to the OSBA All Academic Team. She was the Hazel Miner Sportsmanship Award winner for Ontario basketball.
She has been a team captain for both U17 Team Ontario and Lincoln Prep.
Kaillie (pronounced KAY-lee) is the fourth member of Fralick's first signing class at BGSU, joining Elissa Brett (Adelaide, Australia), Macy Spielman (Upper Arlington, Ohio) and Olivia Trice (Huber Heights, Ohio).
The Falcons finished the 2018-19 season with a 9-21 overall record. BGSU had just two seniors on the '18-19 roster.
