Spring Game Set To Kick At Noon Saturday

Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green State University head coach Scot Loeffler will lead the BGSU Football team Saturday in the annual spring game. The game is scheduled to begin at approximately 12:00 pm in Doyt L. Perry Stadium.

2019 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
With rain in the forecast, the BGSU Football team plans to compete on the turf of The Doyt unless dangerous weather conditions, such as lightning, make the game unplayable outside. Fans are encouraged to follow @BG_Football on Twitter for the latest weather developments.
Admission and parking is free for the game and the first 300 fans in attendance will receive a free spring schedule poster. The football team will be signing autographs and engaging in a meet-and-greet session following the contest. Todd Walker, the Voice of the Falcons, will provide in-game interviews and notes as the contest proceeds.
The game will be broken up as offense vs. defense with the following scoring opportunities (scoring system subject to adjustments):
OFFENSE
Touchdown – 5 points
Explosive Play – 3 points
4+ yard run – 2 points
First First-Down of Drive – 2 points
Third/Fourth Down Conversion – 1 point
DEFENSE
Forced Turnover – 5 points
QB sack – 3 points
Tackle for loss – 2 points
Three-and-out – 2 points
Third/Fourth Down Stop – 1 point
