Abrahamowicz, Radeva Named Jet's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are baseball player Andrew Abrahamowitz and Polina Radeva.

Male Athlete of the Week
Andrew Abrahamowicz, a sophomore from Elyria, Ohio, threw a complete game in Bowling Green's Friday (April 5) night conference game at Eastern Michigan. Abrahamowicz did not allow an earned run over his 8.0 innings of work. He struck out six batters while issuing just two walks.

Female Athlete of the Week
Polina Radeva, a senior from Varina, Bulgaria, won twice in BGSU Tennis' 4-3 win over rival Toledo Sunday. Radeva paired with Ayumi Sasaki for a 7-5 victory at No. 2 doubles and she then rolled through UT's Kokoro Chishaki 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
