General admission tickets for the contest are only $5 as the Falcons open a season at home for the first time since 2013. Bowling Green kicked off an eventual MAC Championship year by decimating Tulsa 34-7 on the way to a 10-win season that included a 47-27 win over No. 14 and previously undefeated Northern Illinois in the MAC Championship game.
Head Coach Scot Loeffler makes his debut in the Orange and Brown against Morgan State, matching wits against former teammate Tyrone Wheatley, also coaching his first game for the Bears.
