• Bowling Green plays its final road game of the season Saturday as the Falcons travel to Akron for a 2:00 pm game on ESPN3. Both teams are looking for their first victory of the 2020 campaign.
• This will be the 27th meeting between the two programs all-time with Bowling Green holding an 18-8 lead in the all-time series. The Falcons are 9-4 all-time in Akron, including a perfect 4-0 record in InfoCision Stadium. BGSU has won by an average of 14.0 points per game at InfoCision Stadium.
• A year ago, Bowling Green defeated the Zips 35-6 in Doyt L. Perry Stadium and the Falcons won 21-6 the last time the two programs faced off in Akron -- in 2018. The Zips have not scored a touchdown in either of the past two meetings against Bowling Green and the Falcons have not allowed a point in the second half of either of those contests.
• Each of the last nine meetings between Akron and Bowling Green have been decided by 10+ points with the Falcons winning eight of those games. The last game in the series to be a one-score game was a 37-33 BGSU victory in 2008.
