Each week, the BGSU Strategic Communications Department breaks down the week ahead in athletics and recaps the week gone by. Listed below are all games over the course of the next seven days with links and information for fans. Following that info are recaps, scores and links from games over the past week.
THE WEEK AHEAD
HOCKEY (6-1-0, 0-0-0 WCHA)

The Falcons will be on the road this weekend as they travel to Hamden, Conn. to take on the Quinnipiac Bobcats marking the first meeting in program history between the two teams. Bowling Green will enter the series with a 6-1 record, including a three-game win streak. Most recently, the Orange and Brown captured a sweep over Ferris State in a non-conference series. The series will be two of the final three non-conference games for the Falcons as they prepare to begin WCHA play on Jan. 2 with another series against Ferris State. As a team, Cameron Wright is currently pacing the Falcons with nine points while Max Johnson is leading in goals with six and Brandon Kruse, T.J. Lloyd and Taylor Schneider are all tied for the lead in assists with six.

The Falcons return to the road this weekend, heading to Morehead, Ky., for the final non-conference game of the 2020-21 schedule. BGSU takes on Morehead State in a 12:00 p.m. start. The Falcons got off to a 4-0 start for the first time in seven years with Friday's 71-64 win over Eastern Michigan in the Mid-American Conference opener, as freshman Lexi Fleming scored over 20 points for the third time in as many home games. On Sunday afternoon, the Falcons fell for the first time this season, dropping a 79-73 decision on the road at Purdue. BG fell behind by 12 points early, and the Falcons trailed by as many as 15 in the third quarter before rallying nearly all the way back. The Brown and Orange got within two points on several occasions, but couldn't quite get over the hump. Following Saturday's MSU game, the Falcons will return to MAC play next week, hosting Miami on Tuesday, Dec. 22, in the team's final contest of 2020.
