This Week In Falcon Athletics (Dec. 21-27)

Each week, the BGSU Strategic Communications Department breaks down the week ahead in athletics and recaps the week gone by. THE WEEK AHEAD

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (5-1, 1-0 MAC)

The Falcons return to Mid-American Conference action and wrap up the December portion of the schedule on Tuesday afternoon, facing Miami University at the Stroh Center. BGSU concluded the non-conference slate on Saturday (Dec. 19) in Kentucky, defeating Morehead State, 76-61. Five BG players scored in double digits in the win, with freshman Lexi Fleming registering a game-high 18 points and junior Kadie Hempfling recording a double-double, as the Falcons improved to 5-1 on the season. Tuesday's game begins a stretch of 19-straight MAC games to conclude the 2020-21 regular-season schedule for the Orange and Brown. After facing the RedHawks, BG will be idle until a trip to Muncie, Ind., to face Ball State University on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021.
