Tennis Tops St. Francis For Second Straight Home Win
February 21, 2020 | Women's Tennis
PERRYSBURG, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis program picked up their third win over the last four matches, topping St. Francis on Friday (Feb. 21) by a score of 6-1. The win moves the Falcons' home record to 2-0 on the young spring season while being 3-2 overall. In doubles, St. Francis had to forfeit No. 3 doubles to begin the day, paving the way for Ioanna Tsadari and Yulia Kapitanova to clinch the doubles point for the Falcons with a win at No. 2 doubles. That momentum rolled into singles play for the Falcons as well. St. Francis also had to forfeit No. 6 singles, continuing a run for Bowling Green that pushed the score up to 6-0 before St. Francis closed out the match with a point of their own.
