What Is The Falcon Club?

The Falcon Club Scholarship and Success Fund was created to provide the best possible athletic and academic opportunities for our 400 student-athletes. When you invest in the Falcon Club Scholarship and Success Fund, you are helping us to create the future and continue the tradition of excellence for Falcon Athletics. Your gifts are imperative in allowing us to provide the resources necessary for our student-athletes to truly have a world-class experience.
Investments in the Falcon Club Scholarship and Success Fund have one over-arching purpose: to provide our student-athletes with the maximum amount of scholarship support allowed by the NCAA in every sport we sponsor. These scholarships allow BGSU to recruit, retain and graduate outstanding student-athletes to compete in the MAC, MVC, and CCHA.
The 2024-25 academic year was an outstanding one for your Falcons. We continue to measure our success by our relentless commitment to improvement, innovation, and success. We finished the spring semester with a cumulative grade point average of 3.511, which is the highest mark achieved in the history of the department. Being leaders in the classroom and in athletics continues to be our commitment to every one of our sports.
Consider the following accomplishments this past year:
As we start to roll out our strategic plan this fall, you will hear increasingly about our "Forward Falcons" strategic plan. This plan outlines our relentless commitment to improvement, innovation, and success. We continue to strive and look critically at all aspects of how we improve our program to ensure comprehensive success. Your commitment is pivotal to helping us achieve our goals this season.

- BGSU student-athletes currently maintain a 91% Graduation Success Rate
- BGSU Track & Field bested Akron and two-time defending MAC champions Eastern Michigan, earning the MAC Indoor Championships title for the first time since 1999
- Falcon Football qualified for a bowl game for the third consecutive year, the first time BGSU was bowl-eligible for three years in a row since going to four bowl games from 2012-15
- Falcon Football also placed a record 18 Falcons on the 2024 MAC All-Academic Team
- BGSU Men's soccer ended its season in the championship match of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, in just the second season competing in the MVC
- Volleyball won the MAC Regular Season Title with only two conference losses throughout the season.
- Falcon Hockey advanced to the CCHA Mason Cup Semifinals for the first time since the 2011-12 season.
- Women's Golf finished 2nd place in the MAC Tournament for their best finish in program history.
