Turner Named First Team NABC All-District For Unprecedented Third-Straight Season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Justin Turner, a fifth-year senior on the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team, has been named First Team NABC All-District. The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced its selections Tuesday (March 16). The selections were made by NABC-member head coaches in NCAA Division I.
Loren Cristian Jackson (Akron), Jason Preston (Ohio), Marreon Jackson (Toledo) and Danny Pippen (Kent State) joined Turner on District 14's First Team.
Turner has earned the honor in three-consecutive seasons. No other player in program history has earned the honor multiple times. Below is a list of Bowling Green's all-time First Team NABC All-District honorees.
The native of Detroit, who also has earned three-straight First Team All-MAC selections, ranks 10th in Mid-American Conference men's basketball history with 2,077 career points. Turner became Bowling Green's all-time leading scorer on Feb. 3. The iconic Falcon ranks fifth at BGSU in three-point field goals (184) and ninth in assists (359).
Turner has started 115 games in the Orange and Brown since 2016, scoring in double figures a total of 104 times. He's poured in 20-plus points 52 times, while registering 30-plus points seven times. Turner has been a part of 86 wins as a Falcon.
