Kaila Butler Named MAC Field Athlete Of The Week

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference today announced that Kaila Butler was named the MAC Field Athlete of the Week for last weekend's performance at Miami's Blizzard Buster. Butler opened the outdoor season by dominating the hammer throw en route to a first place finish.
Butler threw the hammer 210-feet-1 (64.04m) to open the outdoor season at Miami (Ohio). It ranked first in the MAC by more than 30 feet and placed her among the top 10 in the country. A second team All-American in 2019, Butler has positioned herself for a run at All-American status again in 2021.
