Falcons Fall To Ball State Sunday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio– The Bowling Green State University tennis program came up short on Sunday (April 11) against Ball State, playing to a 5-2 finish in favor of the Cardinals. The Falcons saw singles points from Ioanna Tsadari and Selina Karg to tally their two points on the day. With the loss, Bowling Green moves to 9-6 on the season while being 5-4 in conference play. The Falcons will be back in action on Friday (April 16) as they travel to face Buffalo for the second time this season, winning 5-2 in the last meeting.

Making Of The Match
- The Falcons saw two points on the day in singles play. At No. 2 singles, Ioanna Tsadari was able to capture a win in straight sets. Tsadari won the first set by a score of 6-3 before claiming the point in the second with a score of 6-4.
- The second point in singles play came from Selina Karg at No. 5 singles, also winning in straight sets. Karg took the first set with a 6-3 score before closing the door in the second at 6-2.
Up Next
- Bowling Green will return to the courts on Friday (April 16) when they travel to face Buffalo with the match set to start at 1 p.m. The Falcons and Bulls met earlier this season and played to a 5-2 BGSU victory.
- The Falcons will also return home on April 18 to host Western Michigan, slated to begin at 3 p.m. BGSU and WMU played to a close 4-3 final earlier this season that saw the Broncos edge out the Falcons for the win.
