Falcons Take Home Second Place Finish At Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Bowling Green men's golf team collected a second place finish at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational, concluding with a team score of 856, +16 for the tournament. The finish marks the best of the season thus far for the Falcons and the best overall since a second place finish at the Dayton Flyer Invitational last season (April 12-13).
Bowling Green was paced by a strong first round score of 280 followed by two rounds of 288. The outing was bested only by Wright State who finished at 818 (-22). Individually, it was Dylan Fitchet that led the way for the Orange and Brown, breaking even for the tournament and only one of 10 players to post a tournament score of even or better. The event also served as Fitchet's first of the season.
The rest of the Falcons' card saw Connor Gdovin and Brady Pevarnik post top 20 scores. Gdovin ended the tournament with a score of +3 with Pevarnik close behind at +4.
